Looks real to me.  Didn't realize they were so scary looking.  Look at the size of the paws.  Yikes. 

 

Wonder if maybe he/she has rabies or is diseased in someway and acting outside of its normal routine?  Animals that get rabies tend to wander and go to places they normally wouldn't go.

Looks absolutely real to me.  It's staying at the side of the road, near the trees.

 

We had a bobcat in our backyard last summer (seems like an eternity ago).  He was right up next to the house, heading for our bird feeders.  I wasn't fast enough to get a photo, I was so startled to see him.

 

And my DH saying "Are you sure that isn't someone's cat?"  (City boy.)  "NO, that is NOT someone's cat!"

 

We've had foxes, coyotes and more around our house, but that was the first bobcat.

May just be the bad quality of the photo and/or the lighting, but looks like something may be wrong with one of its eyes in the last photo.

Being a “city girl”, I find it interesting to hear about others wildlife encounters.
