People need to think "hey, if I make a stupid decision to kill someone I might get caught and then go to prison the rest of my life".  Don't feel sorry for him - feel sorry for his family though.  Former NFLer or not, he was convicted of a crime.

Re: Aaron Hernandez

[ Edited ]

A man who seemingly had it all, from all outward appearances that is. But made the decisions he made in life anyway. Why, only he knows. Jose Baez thought he could get involved in the appeal of his first murder conviction. He was acquitted of the other two murders last Friday, Baez represented him.

I'm sad for his very young daughter. A cautionary tale.

Why would anyone feel sorry for him? Feel sorry for the people he murdered.

He was just aquitted Fri and had an appeal pending on the conviction. Odd timing.

The Pats are to visit the WH today.

He showed signs of being a psychopath when he was being scouted for the NFL and even after becoming a player he still showed signs. Why the NFL kept him as long as they did is beyond me.

I have no sympathy for a young man who had it all & blew it!! He was so arrogant that he got in his own way!!

He was involved in that bar fight in FL during college, the one where Tim Tebow tried to intervene. They were teammates. Had issues with marijuana and possible gang affiliations, so he dropped in the draft. How much the Patriots knew about him then, only they know. They drafted him anyway.

When he was on the Patriots he was said to be a loner, isolated himself from his teammates. He preferred his old life and dubious friends. Could never leave that behind-why? The answers went with him.
