I had something like that happen a few weeks ago.  The delivery guy was just backing out of my parking lot, and I flagged him down. He came back, looked on the ground to see if what should have been something about the size of ruler had fallen out, went back in his truck and moved the few items left inside to see if my item was there, and then apologized and told me to contact Amazon immediately. I had a replacement the next day.

Two weeks ago, UPS delivered my Amazon order which came in one of Amazon's padded envelopes.  UPS man handed it directly to me and turned to leave.  I said whoa!...there is nothing in here.  He came back.  We both inspected the SEALED envelope and then I opened it.  Nothing there.  UPS man took pictures as did I. He documented that I refused the empty package and the reason.  I documented the incident with Amazon.  My order was re-shipped.

I just got a delivery from Amazon, delivered by UPS.  It was an 8x10 padded envelope.

The envelope had been slit open and was totally empty.  Nothing but air inside the envelope.

I hope whoever helped themselves to the contents along the way enjoys their 2 jars of mustard.

It was an Amazon prime item.  I sent them a message.

Mustard was sent in a padded envelope? That in itself isn't cool.

Sorry this happened, gidgeth.  Just be glad it wasn't a limited edition  bag sent from Norfolk, VA if that had to happen!

@gidgetgh Was the package on your porch for awhile? Or did the driver give it to you like that?

@Ladybug724 - I was sitting in the living room, about 20 feet from the front door. He rang the bell, I walked to the door and got my 2 packages.  So no one walked up to the door and did it.

@gidgetgh Wow. Either the driver did it or he didn't care what condition the package was in. How could the driver not see the package was open and empty? Sad

@Ladybug724    If its like the USPS, they must deliver every package regardless of its condition or age.  Sometimes they'll indicate it was received damaged or empty.  They have many temporary employees right now, perhaps not screened as well as permanent employees.  I'm guessing theft increases exponentially.

I understand. I love Harry and David Honey Dill Mustard. I would travel over an hour to go to a Harry and David Store just to buy the mustard. Now there are no more retail stores. And you can't buy the mustard by itself on line.

To get one jar you have to buy a large gift basket - $109.99.

So sorry you didn't get your jars of mustard. We have several international markets in our area. I will look to see if they carry Kosciusko mustard.

@drizzellla - I used to buy it when I visited family in Pennsylvania.  It's just a grocery store mustard but it is really good.

This a really tasty brand of spicy brown mustard.  They carry it in my local grocery store.
