Our vet and the specialty vet near us sends cards with personal messages from the staff.  I always  read them even though it brings out the pain more acutely.  Lovely sentiments and well deserved.  I keep ours near all the paw prints and urns.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

what a beautiful and touching card. And you are blessed with a very caring veterinary staff

Hi, MamaWick and PapaWick too.  ending a little hug to you both.  I know the sadness lingers for little Cricket.  The truely touching thing about that sweet card is that Usually the ateding Vet sends a condolance card.  Everyone else signed that card because Cricket touched their lives  and they WANTED To show that.  She was a Special little girl.  I hope you both are doing well and your deer family is providing some distraction and comfort for you.  Thank you for checking in. It was good to hear from you.

@MamaWick -I don't have pets but I know how important they are in the lives of other folks. I always try to send a card when they pass.💗

This was a kind and thoughtful card from Cricket's vet.  Again, I am so sorry for your loss.  We just never forget our beloved family.

@MamaWick, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my sweet Maya this summer (she ALMOST made it to 18!) and I also got a card like that from the vet and staff. When I lost my Kody a few years ago, the vet staff made me a paw print in clay, painted it with Rainbow colors and took a charm that hung on his collar and put it in the clay. That was so sweet of them and still makes me cry, but I am glad I have it.
