Dear MamaWick and PapaWick,

What a thoughtful and caring veterinary group you belong to.  Their sincere concern shows through.  I hope you felt a warmth knowing that your Cricket was with a caring medical team.

We have belonged to the same group for decades and have received a card on the loss of our pets only a few times.  The most thoughtful card was sent to us by a female vet who also made a donation in the name of our pet dog.

I have missed you but understood that you will return to posting if and when you feel up to it.

Many of us were "Cricketeers."  She was a sweetie.

That was nice of your vets, i know how much it hurts, to lose our  4 paw ,babies, they are such a big part of our lives.

What a lovely gesture from your vet's office.  Many years ago, when we had to say goodbye to our beloved Golden Retriever, we were surprised to receive a handwritten letter from the vet, saying he knew how hard it was, but that we had made the best choice for our pet.

We were even more surprised, when we received the bill for the final week of care, with a note that the vet had reduced it by 2/3rds because he knew how hard a decision it was that we had to make.  He was a wonderful vet and even better person.

Thinking of you, @MamaWick  and hoping that time will begin to ease the pain.

This is absolutely beautiful and made me cry!  How kind and caring of your vet staff to do this.

I think of Cricket all the time.  All the pictures of her use to make me smile all the time and warmed my heart! Heart

All my love and hugs to you and Papawick as  you work through this difficult time.  HeartHeart

@MamaWick

So sorry for your loss of your sweet pup - I haven't been on much lately due to other circumstances.  I need to catch up on your beautiful deer pics too.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.  We said goodbye to our kitty a couple months ago and the house is feels "so empty"..

We also received a beautiful card with his paw prints from our vet - so very touching...

hugs

Thank you for sharing that very special card.  Cricket was so special.  How could you not fall in love with her?  I surely did.

I do think that darling is in heaven now, likely wishing she could send a message on down to Mama and Papa.  â€śDon’t you worry about me.  imagine me well and happy, and I have made so many new friends.  We will be together again some day, I know it.”

My fondest wishes to you both.  You two are the best.

Pam

The saying on the card is lovely.  I know how it hurts to lose a pet, please accept my condolences on your loss of your beloved Cricket.  Dog Heaven now has a new friend to play with.Heart
