While years ago people may have killed someone in a fight  I would venture 8 times out of 10 if 2 guys threw a few blows over say parking spot both walked away alive.

 

There might be a broken nose or a couple of teeth knocked out but they were alive.

 

Now the first course of action is to pull a weapon.  It used to be if  you out pulled in front of someone they swore at you or flipped you off.  Now you have to be afraid of what they will do.

@lovesrecess , yes, I heard that many times myself. But, I bet you didn’t respond, “Shut your mouth!” You may have thought it. You may have wanted to say it. But, did you?

 

My point in my original post was that people seem more likely to act on their angry impulses now. Restraint seems to be a thing of the past. I think we’ve stepped over a line and we need to take a step back.
