@Cats3000   Well if you teach your kids that then it is your problem. And if you personally know people like this maybe you should move.

I read all this stuff in the news that is happening but NEVER see any of it or read about it where I am,or,with people I know. They have morals so put that broad brush away. Look at the insane people at certain get togethers   That I cant mention. They define evil.

There was an incident at a Wal Mart here in Mississippi that resulted in the deaths of two people in the store.  People in general are angry, opinionated and just as soon to stab you in the heart and it still beating.  We are bombarded with "bad news" but rarely hear of  great acts of kindness anymore.

I think there is many reasons why  people are angry,   i also feel the break up of the family has caused this ,   not having connections of   community, social media, not having a belief stystem, many reasons.

We need to make the penalty so stiff that people WILL think before they act. Show more live documentaries on tv about what every day prison is like. Then show what people are doing every day who aren't in prison. How your friends will live a full life while you rot in prison for the rest of your days. Just get it across.

Agree the country has gone nuts.

On another note; I have been inspired to use the term "rhetorical question" in my posts when I use one.  Last week I asked a rhetorical question and was referred to the "rules of the boards."  I think there are people here who need to be sedated sometimes.

I still don't know who y'all mean by people. Which people? We are all people. I think everyone in this forum is pretty decent. And most people are just like us: Flawed but not crazy or off the rails.

When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.

@Porcelain If you're talking to me, I'm not putting the people her in the same category as the crazies.  I was just referring to her "rhetorical question" phrase.

Ohhhhhhh. The reptile people. Gotcha. I read that guy's book a while back too.

I don't know a lot about it but I don't think the reptile people or the other aliens like church. But they may like chicken sandwiches.
