A Rhetorical Question - What The Heck Is.....

wrong with people?   A man was stabbed to death at a Popeye's for cutting in line.  A fight broke out and carried into the parking lot.  The man died at the hospital.  They are looking for the killer.

It's a stupid sandwich.  You risk spending your life in jail for a hyped-up piece of chicken.

Last week on the news there was film of a guy at McDonald's throwing hot coffee in the drive-thru window on the worker.   Her crime, giving him 2 coffees instead of 1.

I just don't get it.  There are more and more crazies everyday.

Besides "road rage" we now have to be on the look out for "drive thru rage."

There have always been crazies. Look at local paper archives from the past. Plenty of irrational angy violent people doing off the wall crimes then too.

It's just that back then, the stories only hit the local papers. Now, we hear about everything. The information available to us has changed, not the actions of the goofball contingent of humanity.

A lack of caring about one another, not putting your self in the shoes of the other person.

Yes, indeed.  It's crazy out there.  I think people are crazy to stand in long lines for fried chicken sandwhich anyway.  Much less fight over a spot in line.

Re: A Rhetorical Question - What The Heck Is.....

Yesterday I read about a parent who went to a local school board meeting and when she asked questions the school board official basically told her to shut her mouth! An administrator, acting in an official capacity, told a taxpayer who pays his salary, to shut her mouth!

I’ve said it before here, but we are an angry population. Actions like I described are more commonplace now than ever before. AND sadly, these actions are accepted by those who are unhappy and feel they’ve been taken advantage of and are looking for targets upon whom to vent their dislike.

When people feel they can react in any way they want to any perceived offense, without repercussions, this is the result.  Have we lost our very souls? We need to take a step back. JMHO.

That is why other than going food shopping...I stay home 99% of the time.  Still not protection from crazies, but I feel better.

I can't even begin to imagine what in will be like in 10 years, even 5. Every time I think nothing more can shock me, I'm wrong.
