A QVC Shipping Lesson Learned

I paid almost $13 shipping charges to have a birthday gift to be delivered in two days, July 24th, I placed my order early on July 22. I didn’t realized it was extra payment for an estimated delivery day. When I pay for standard shipping at Amazon, Target, Walmart my package arrives in a couple of days. When I have paid for extra shipping charges from other companies I receive my package according to the extra monies for shipping that I pay, meaning next day or two days. I notice QVC extra shipping charges is really not worth it because I didn’t receive my package any sooner.

A waste of monies for nothing and a good lesson learned. I will NEVER pay for additional shipping charges on any orders from QVC that says “estimated” arrival time, I will stick with standard shipping. I will pay extra shipping charges to companies who deliver when they say they will deliver. Today is July 25th and the package still hasn’t been delivered. Very disappointed but knowledgeable not to repeat a QVC shipping charges mistake again.

Ask customer care for a shipping refund . I am sure they will refund the shipping cost .Sorry for your delay .

Two day shippping does not mean you will receive the order two days after ordering, it means once shipped it will take two days

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

Well, they did say "estimated" and on top of that, you cut it as close as you could possibly cut it. You really have only yourself to blame and QVC owes you nothing.

Amazon, along with many other retailers mean what most people expect when paying extra for expedited shipping. No clever semantics; no loop holes.

I never order anything time-sensitive from QVC.

Chrystaltree- My statement wasn’t about QVC owing me anything. It was about paying extra for shipping charges which really didn’t make a difference. By the way the person’s birthday is July 26th, so no close call and they will receive it today. I had no intention of asking QVC for anything. It was a lesson learned for me about their method of extra monies for shipping charges. No where in my message did I request a refund nor spoke bad about QVC. Now that I know their extra monies shipping method, no excuse if I were to use it again. Owe no man nothing but love.
