Hi everyone!  As you all know, 50 years ago today we landed on the moon!  Please tell us your story of where you were that day.

i was 7 years old and remember none of it.

my mother told me that they were all glued to the TV though.

I was 16 and remember watching with my family in our living room.

I was at home and my mother made me watch it on TV.  There were few networks back then and this was on every channel.

i really wasn't interested at the time, but my mother insisted it was history in the making. I was 15.

I watched all of it on TV. I saved all the newspapers & magazines about it. I also have the same for JFK's assanation. I was thinking maybe a teacher could use them as a teaching aid but I guess everything is on the internet these days.

i was nursing at that time. I was working nursery duty that night.they did have a t.v. On so we could watch while tending the babies.

sitting with my dad, cousins & family gathered around the tv.  after this we celebrated the moon landing and my cousins bday!

I was Maid of Honor at a wedding in Bad Kissingen, Germany.  After the reception we watched the Moon Landing on the black and white t.v. in the Officers Club.  I was twenty five.

I was staying in Florence, Italy, in July 1969.  It was an odd sensation not to be present in my country for such an historical moment.  I learned the news as I entered a movie theater in Florence.  There was a newspaper in the lobby that read, "L'aquila e sulla luna."  The Eagle is on the Moon.
