I don't want to give away any secrets LOL....I've ended up answering these calls a couple of times for one reason or another. I can work from home, so I at times answer numbers I don't recognize.

 

I pretend to be quite alarmed that my computer is at risk, and hold them on the line as long as possible.  I ask which computer. They say the microsoft one. I reply with: which one? I have three. And I also have a server, so....it usually never gets past that point. It has been satisfying a time or two I admit.

They started a phone call with "Dear Customer" ???   I'd have hung up right there and then...LOL   It could only get dumber after that.
