@Noel7  Did the hulking she-devil do any permanent damage... as in,  did she break anything?   Such a shame to work hard getting everything perfect,  then have a mischief - maker ruin it all.

LOL too cute, ok and slightly frustrating.

I've had a cat that knocked over the live 9 ft tree and it came crashing down breaking my  Dept 56 village underneath and a bunch of ornaments. This year my Yule cats are Freyja and Thor. Both keep climbing the fake tree. They are siblings and about 18 months old. Yesterday Freyja was caught chewing on the corner of the prime rib I was thawing for Christmas dinner. Luckily it was just the fat and it's only use and the kid for dinner this year.

Crazy cats. They've pulled off ribbon garland and I've heard my swarovski ornaments tinkling from them climbing the tree. I found a glass pinecone ornament on the ground too, pulled out of the hanger.

Oh no, you really have suffered major damage!  Those cats, but how we love them anyway.

I love the names you chose for your two.

The one that did the major damage was a long time ago and is no longer with us. But yes we do love them. I have 7 now.

We had a german shorthair pointer than would steal the stuffed ornaments off the tree so we had to put them up out of her reach.

@Kachina624

Hi Kachina, so far I don't see any breakage, but I only looked quickly.  The village is laid out across the top of a large oak entertainment center, so my tall DH will have to do the reaching, I can only get to the front pieces.  I got to it just as the vintage red truck with Christmas tree atop was sliding off.

It can be fixed, and we do love Taffy, she's funny and loving.  She lets me pick her up, flip her upside down and cover her tummy with kisses.  She's actually very gentle.

Seven!  I'm inspired, I would love a third.  I keep seeing Instagram photos of cats and Frenchies wearing a Christmas sweater or some other little outfit and thinking that if I got a kitten, I could raise her accepting the idea of wearing costumes, LOL.

Oh, that is so cute @jaxs mom !

Re: her name... I can't remember the name of the fairly recent TV show about two sisters and a mother who were all witches, but I think one sister had the name Freyja.  Did you ever see that show?

Freyja is so cute and will be beautiful.  Is she a Ragdoll?
