DH and I found our resident 14 year old black cat on the roof of our detached garage.Got her down and she was back up there the next day. She was only 2 months old at the time!

I agree!  Especially with cats, they do find who they want to live with and who will be their appropriate "staff" for their needs and wants.  HAHAHA
