My niece lives in Paris, and my sister spends her summer in Portugal, and they both have told me about this French woman.

Her name is Gisèle Pélicot.

Google her. The BBC has quite the lengthy article on what has happened to her.

I truly have no words.

@Pezzie Thanks for the warning. I'll pass. There's been enough bad stuff in the news this year I don't need another horrific story.

There are no words I can use on this forum that would describe the disgust I feel after reading this story. Despicable, sick, horriible people exist in this world.

Sadly, this happens to women every day of the week in many places in many countries.

This woman to me, was being kind in the words she used to describe her perpetrator husband. I would not have been so "polite" and I cannot say what he is here...

Hopefully, she gets justice and he gets the wrath of fellow prisoners..

That is a terrible story to happen to this woman. There must be more to this story than I am reading because it seems I have more questions. I was reading this article on Reuters.

I can't say what I would like to say about her spouse on this forum. I pray for her and hope justice will be swift and appropriate. What a horrible person she married !
