I've also had my fill of doctors with the condescending attitude.  

 

All my adult life, often when I call for an appointment for whatever (and I don't run to the doctor for every single little thing because I hate going), well gosh, the doc is so busy and nothing availabe for the next month.  But whenever my DH calls, OH MY!!  He's a man so it's much more important so he gets an appointment in 3 days!  (My DH is very aware of this but there's nothing he can do about it even tho he'd like to!)

 

The last few years I had a really good female PA, but she just left and I've been assigned to a male doctor.  I've seen him briefly just once for a referral to a specialist.  I hope he turns out to be as good as my last PCP.  He's quite young and I told my husband I have a Doogie Howser!  Woman Wink
