i have already seen quite a bit of coverage. awaiting commemoration of the fall of one of the towers at the White House/Ground Zero.  let's remember the innocent victims of 9/11, all those who responded, and also that we have troops still fighting this around the world.

Our NYC stations are covering the ceremony live right now.

Every year I say I will not watch, but somehow I'm always drawn to it.  I remember the day as if it were yesterday.  We were changing classes when I first heard the news.  There were numerous students in our school who lost loved ones. Todd Beamer was from the next community.

I don't need to view the holocaust of those planes flying into those buildings and the horrible pics of the victims again.  I can't handle that anymore.  I choose to quietly pray for our world instead.

I'm sure there are many programs available online.

Skala  and Officer Alfonse J. Niedermeyer. They are missed. May they rest in peace.

For TV programing it is just marketing. I will not be watching.

The History Channel always has programs; have to check the Smithsonian Channel too.

Yes the weather is the same today as it was 16 years ago.  I live about 60 miles from Shanksville Pa - will never forget any of it.

I am disappointed that "As It Happened" didn't seem to be on this morning - I have watched it every year pn CNN or MSNBC.  It showed what happened in "real time" - what was on NBC that morning as it was happening.

I think it's important to watch programming - as horrific as it was I think you tend to forget HOW horrific.

To each his own though.

Replaying the horror and saddness on TV for hours at a time on EVERY CHANNEL competing for  their market share $$$$and viewership.   Just not necessary.   remembrance is fine.... but the news and TV channels go overboard and it is not for remembrance anymore.  I can have my opinion. You can have yours. If you enjoy watching it over and over and over again. enjoy.
