Mother Nature can take her "heat dome" and stick it, well, you know.

I'm in the metro-DC area and it's not unusual to have hot summer weather through part of the fall season.

@Spacrazy  My conversation with DD this morning.

DD: Dear God, this heat.  Mother Nature needs a Raid suppository.

Me:  What?

DD: Raid suppository for that bug up....

Me: Got it.

She is not wrong.

Re: 73 Days Until Fall !!

[ Edited ]

I am loving this weather.  It sure beats winter.

It's 100 degrees today and I have been outside in the shade just lovin it.  It's getting ready to rain.  We can use it.

@fairydogmother

I can't deal with that weather. I like to have the different seasons even though sometimes it doesn't feel like we have 4 seasons. I need it to get cold after the hot summer.

My sisters live in Fl. I was born in Fl.

I told my sister something was wrong with her cold water. It won't get cold? DUH LOL

Our plumbing is buried deeper so we do get cold water out of the faucet. Fl is not buried as deep so it's warm.

I like to wash my face with cold water so I can wake up.

It's only in the 70's today in my part of WI. Looks like rain...AGAIN. We have had enough rain. Next week we will be around 90 again and dry.

We don't get fall until December, if we're lucky!  Sigh!
