We have our own time frames for seasons here in central TX. The weather and temps dictate. Fall'ish weather will be sometimes in October (maybe), moving winter forward. For some winters, we never even have a freeze. 

Sometimes at Christmas, the AC will be on and folks will be out exercising in shorts. So we never know for sure. Then spring comes and it's over in a heartbeat, moving into deplorable heat, while it's still supposed to be spring by the calendar.

Rarely, we'll get a surprise in what's supposed to be winter, with freezing temps and even snow, but rare. Everything comes to a halt here. We simply don't how to function in bad winter weather. Neither do our utility services. They're the worst.

I get people don't like winter, but of all weather related deaths this weather has the most.

Our morning weather guy loves this h*llscape called summer 2024.  Every time he says how great it is I want to throw my Sketcher slip-on at the TV.

I was in the pool all AM.  I am fonting this while smelling like clorine.  To lazy to take a bath or shower.

I hate this hot weather.  My energy level is low and being out in the heat is unhealthy for many of us.  I am thankful for air conditioning but I long for cooler weather when I can open the windows and feel that breeze and fresh air.
