I'm sure this will happen at other stores, more than likely already has. I have never used a debit card, this country has to catch up with the times with making our credit cards safe. I would think this would be an eye opener.

Re: 70 Million Customers hit at Target

I saw on the news that this number is much higher, over 100 m. people were affected. And as i started a new thread, Neiman & Marcus also has many that also were hacked into, but rather sneekily, they only reported this in the last few days. Would that have been so their clientele would still go shopping there for the holidays? That's what I though.

All in all, a miserable situation. I wish all affected the best and I will continue to shop with cash for all of those reasons. Go to the bank beforehand, get what I want to spend, and that's it. Or, since I was in the hospital with my knee repl. I had this cash in hpuse, knowing i couldn't go to the bank for prob. 2 months or so.

Wish all of you the best of luck and take good care, hoping soon it has been all worked out.

Target stores that I've been in have been clean and well organized. I prefer Wal-Mart because they carry things that target doesn't, then I have to drive to another store. I'd rather make one stop.

I usually have to go over to Target to find the things that Walmart is often out of. Walmart seems to be slow stocking up on cosmetics, skin care, pet foods in bags, and certain otc drugs.

Re: 70 Million Customers hit at Target

My local Target is always so clean; stock always in place. I like the Walmart grocery section better than the one at Target but the store isn't nearly as well organized and stocked; employees are not as well informed as to where needed items are located.

Target is certainly not a trashy store by any means. Can't imagine what the poster is talking about. Intend to go there tomorrow; they have many check out lines which is not true of my local Walmart.
