I am ready for spring.  One week of winter is enough for me.   I hate the cold and dark days of winter.

Three seasons...spring summer and fall would be desirable.

I too, have noticed that is it still light out at 5 pm.  I love it.  I hate to have to walk the dogs in the dark.

Spring!  bring it on.

I know the heat and humidity is awful, but I'm talking about my need for green.

I just want to see leaves and green grass.

I would settle for some sunshine. I can continue handling winter, if only I could occasionally see the sun! The gray skies every single day are getting to me!

That's calendar spring.  Real spring doesn't happen here until the first week or so of May.  Too far away to think about now.

We aren't even a month into winter.  You've got a long cold spell ahead.  Hunker down and enjoy it before the inferno of summer hits.

I am probably in the minority, but I love hot, hot, hot.

My swimsuits are having withdraw symptoms.

Re: 67 Days Until Spring.

[ Edited ]

I feel as if I have been in a fog for a year and cannot get a grip on what my life has been. Time seems to have no meaning. One day fades into the next. Thinking about spring just means I have two more months to lose as I wait for the other shoe to drop. Does anyone else feel this way? The only positive thing about the advent of spring is a partial end to the dark, dreary, drizzly days of Fall and Winter.

Maybe those yearning to see green could use some houseplants in their houses.

Spring through Summer is my least favorite time of the year, but I do like plants.  I have 11 at my windows and don't have to pull weeds in hot temperatures, so winter is also a welcome reprieve from humidity and pesky biting bugs.

Why not just try to enjoy the season you are in now and not wish time away?  We are only 3 weeks into winter.

I'm in no hurry. We haven't had winter yet and odds are we won't in my area, where it seems we haven't for years now. Although we used to have four seasons, it seems like we now see only spring, summer and fall. Besides, summer follows spring and I am in no way looking forward to summer, which seems to last forever.
