I saw that Sean Penn "spam"

60 Minutes......sorry....most of it is SPAM, an "infomercial

I was watching the debate and missed 60 minutes. However, I have read half of the  very llong Rolling Stone article. I left off at the end of the first meeting with El Chapo  and the beginning of the actual interview for the magazine. I found it fascinating and kind of surreal at the same time. The one who is actually in danger is the Hispanic actress, but not from El Chapo. She has spoken out about the corruption of the Mexican government, and that is where the danger for her lies. Of course, I happen to think Sean Penn is a great actor, a man involved in humanity, and much more than what some of you have expressed. Contrary to what detractors think, Sean Penn could not possibly care less about fame or money. He was well aware of the danger from the moment he traveled to the Sinaloa region escorted by armed henchmen and cartel members for the first introduction to the drug loard.  I'll finish the article and then try to find the 60 Minutes interview online.

I think Sean Penn is a narcissistic fool. To paraphrase an old Scottish expression...he is too impressed with his own wee self. While avoiding 60 Minutes, I watched a rerun of an Anthony Bordain program about the cuisine of Charleston, SC. It was fascinating to see how chefs there have been bringing back the cooking of local products. Then I turned to Downton Abbey, my favorite! Did anyone watch that new Civil War hospital series on PBS? It was filled with gore but I found it interesting. My husband hated it.
