I've been thinking of them too. I have a warming hut set up outside for a few stray cats that live in my neighborhood and I feed them too using an electric warming bowl for food and water.

Thank you for the correct spelling, I only got a glimpse of it on the local ABC news Smiley Happy The amount of snow in Boston is also scary.

Thank you for saying so, but I wish I could do more when it's this cold. I have a hard time keeping it clear of snow...we get a LOT of snow in my area. The hut is on my side porch which doesn't have a roof over it. It has an electric warming pad inside which heats up with the body heat of a cat laying on it. Thankfully there aren't too many strays in this area.

I grew up at its base. I used to think that everybody went skiing when it was 20 below because that was normal. It's why I still go out on a clear, cold night to gaze at the stars when it's in the single digits.

I can't imagine how cold a minus 40 degree temp is. PA was very cold today and we're told the temp can go down to minus 7 tonight with a wind chill factor of minus 33 degrees. It's still very windy here but that should diminish by noon Monday.

We've had a robin in our back yard for the last two weeks and I don't know where he gets his food; the ground is frozen and snow covered. We first saw him in our crabapple trees eating the berries but there are no berries left now. Hey, I'm told robins normally mean spring is on its way; we can only hope. The sooner the better for me.
