I want to see Godzilla. They are offering it in regular format or 3D. What do I need to see the movie in 3D. Does the theater offer glasses or do you have to bring your own. I haven't a clue how this works. Thanks for any light you could shed on this.

It makes the special effects more special, by appearing to be right at you. And the movie theater provides the glasses.

Thanks so much. I guess they just charge you more for the glasses.

You can't watch it without the glasses.

When I went to see the movie "Avatar" in 3-D, I was charged the same ticket price as those who saw the same movie in regular format.

In other words, I was not charged more to see the movie in 3-D.

At least, that's how I remember it.

hi taxy lady, the charge is because of the extra work involved to make the movie 3-D.

That's cool. Around here it costs more for the 3-D

I get dizzy when I watch 3-D movies.

I think I read those reused 3D glasses aren't very sanitary. I'll see if I can find what I read (leaving in a few minutes but I'll look really fast).Smiley Happy

The ones I have had came wrapped in plastic bag. They were new. I have a small collection of them in my desk drawer because a person doesn't return them.
