For the millionth time I will repeat, we lived in Florida for years, we have visited DisneyWorld 20+ times.  I have never even thought of alligators in their waters, never.  I am sure tons of children have had their toes at the edge of those ponds. The parents did nothing wrong, they were right there. No one from Nebraska is thinking about alligators in Disney. It is a wonder the father wasn't killed also.

I've been to Disney a couple dozen times, most recently last summer.  I was aware there have been gators in the water around Grand Floridian, as well as in the waters around Tom Sawyer island in Magic Kingdom, the Coronado Springs hotel, and the Dolphin & Swan hotels.  Just by riding the Disney transportation from one park to the next or one hotel to the next, it's not unusual to see gators.

It is so wrong to blame these parents, so very wrong, if you have been there i think you would be surprised there are gators in that  water, these parents are in for a entire life of what will he be doing now, what will he look like. And please stop the blue print!!

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Re: 2 yr old pulled into the water by alligator

A Walt Disney World guest warned hotel employees about an alligator 5 feet from shore less than an hour before the fatal attack on 2-year-old Lane Graves, according to a report from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
