Pulling that off as a stunt would have meant involving at least a couple of dozen strangers and getting them to trust the KK family and be willing to risk jail for them.
It would have meant the KK family would be willing to essentially throw away $33 million in jewels and pay many, many millions more to the KNOWN jewel thief group, And have been able to track them down when the French police could not.
And people are willing to believe all of that? And that KK would be willing to risk losing her children if just one person told on her?
That's just too wild for anyone to swallow.

How's his net worth? From what I have seen of that family, nothing would surprise me. A woman with millions in jewels and no bodyguard?

She had bodyguards with her, they'd left.
Her husband isn't smart enough imo to act the part of a psychotic and get away with it OVER TIME with a psychiatrist and while on a 72 hour hold in a mental unit which was extended longer because of his fragile state.

I'm pretty sure it's major for French tourism. It happened in a hotel, which does not speak well for their security.
unfortunately, i guess if this had happened to a "regular tourist" people would have more sympathy or compassion. just because it happened to a "kardashian" doesnt make it anymore less serious. not sure why people feel the need to make a joke out of it.
thanks for sharing the updates.

I agree with you. And not long after that, her husband had a psychotic break. That's a lot to handle, especially if you have two children to protect.
Kim was so traumatized she had to leave the hotel half naked with her coat adjusted in all the rght places with press in place
and Kayne was sane prior this
Ya OK
The Ks make a joke of everything -they exploit everything
thats why some people have no sympathy for them
The are publicity wh%^res

No, @JobGirl He wasn't sane. He's been under the care of a psychiatrist for some time, and he had exhibited bizarre behavior over time which suggested a problem.
He's been on psych meds for years, made even worse when his Mom (who raised him as a single Mom) passed away after lipo, several years ago.
With this latest episode, he went off of his meds.
********************************
There's a big difference between being treated for depression and the like, and having a full psychotic break, which was his diagnosis by his own doctor and the mental unit he was taken to.

I think it's possible the psychotic husband set it up without her knowledge. The insured jewels would be replaced.
I'm not saying this is what happened, I'm saying it's possible. And given this clan's desperate desire for attention and to remain relevant, it's not all that absurd. Unlikely? Maybe. Absurd? Not so much.
The seed of doubt has been planted.

I guess he has a lot of the public convinced. Myself...I think he's an opportunist who would do anything for a $$$$.

the World is still flat.
For all the naysayers coming up with multiple of excuses to justify
the hatred for these total strangers (which I find extremely odd),
just call it like it is....it's the Last Name. The Kardashians could
develop a cure for cancer, give it away for free & people will
still bag on them. Fact. Just. Let. It. Go.
And a lot of people don't like the K's and how they do things for publicity and flaunt their wealth on social media. A lot of people don't care about her jewelry...
Always been curious about that saying,
"do things for publicity".
What things do they "do" which turn out to be fictitious?
Is there history of fictitious activity among the Kardashian family?
doing things for publicity doesn't equate with fictious
they do A LOT for publcity
how many tapes have YOU made? Thats HOW she GOT famous in the first place
So? Isn't that an individual's business, how they make their own money, as long as it isn't illegal?
How many tapes have YOU made, since you asked?
How do you make your money, @JobGirl? No pun intended.....

I agree, but what I read was that he's always been bi-polar, with chronic depression being worse after his Mom died, then going off his meds.
I'm not surprised he had a psychotic break.
