You may very well be right about that. All I know is, we had to jump through flaming hula hoops to transport our 2 horses through 3 states when we moved.

My dog's food comes from Canada, but I may be missing your point.

Neither are the flu, AIDS, HIV, etc., etc., etc., but that hasn't stopped anyone.
Add astronauts, Vietnam War Vets and who knows what else.
Very interesting about the horses.
I know when we went to Hawaii they were very serious about bringing ANYTHING back like fruits and vegetables. I believe international to Europe we had a form for food type items and it seems our cruise to Alaska too but not sure because of transfer to Alaska or the port in Canada one day. To be sure, there are many restrictions for travelers.

We sure have a bizarre set of priorities in this country, don't we?

Thanks for clearing that up. You're right.

....and now Ms. Bertha Betterthanyou has gone on a bike ride to force the issue. I do not like her. Is it such a big stinkin deal to stay home for 3 weeks?
I know nobody will be harmed from a bike ride, however, this is obviously just to poke the state in the eye. It is a statement to everybody else under quarantine that 'you don't gotta'.
How responsible.
ETA: The issue is that if she should become symptomatic they are going to have to inconvenience every single person she was in contact with and at perhaps great expense to them and to the state to track. All because she can't think of her community first.

Our government simply cannot hold people against their will who are not a danger to anyone nor have broken any law.
