I am in the middle of Foreign Agent by Brad Thor. Loving it, but I may take a break from it to read "In the Dark Dark Night" which I had on hold. Anybody read either of these?

Just finished "what is not yours is not yours" by Helen Oyeyemi. It;s a book of short stories. If you love fantasy & magic that's the book for you. There was one story about puppets I didn't like much but I think it's because I didn't understand it.

Finished Debbie Macomber's 204 Rosewood Lane.
Going to read Jane Smiley's Duplicate Keys next.

I am reading The Innocent by Harlan Coben. I am about 150 pages into the 515 page book. Nao far so good. I am pretty sure someone here recommended this. LM

@BornToShop thank you so much for posting this link! I intend to write a note to the author as well, to let her know how much I appreciated her writing such a fascinating book. I don't like to use the word "enjoy" while referring to such a sad piece of writing, but I did enjoy learning about this particular camp that I somehow missed. G-d bless Stasia and all the other "Rabbits" that were tortured as such young, innocent girls.

@BornToShop Thank you so much for this link. Absolutely wonderful. What a strong woman. What a heinous crime. She was only 14 years old. I loved reading in the link how all the others, of all nationalities, stood behind the rabbits. Protected them and hid them. Made me tear up. I had no idea while reading that this book was partially true until sunala told us, here. Loved this book. Oh, those poor rabbits. And the wonderful Caroline. God bless them all and we know where they are today. Uh-oh, I'm starting to cry.
I could never read Mischling because I have twin grandaughters. It would be too heart wrenching.
When the docu on The Rabbits is available, please post in case I hadn't heard. Thanks
