I KNOW -- this is a Book Forum, so please forgive me but for word lovers this is too good to miss. Upstart Crow is a new Britcom on PBS about William Shakespeare before he became famous. If you like British Humour it's a wickedly funny mix of satire, sly digs at the present day political scene, word play, and literature. The first episode I saw was about the creation of "Romeo and Juliet":
"Will, that dialog -- people are just going to think she wants to know where Romeo IS."
"No, she wants to know WHO Romeo is. If it was easy to understand, anybody could write it. I mix up the word order. It's what I do; it's am I who."
I've never said this about a TV show before, but this one is as much fun as reading a really good book.
