I read this book yesterday. Are we supposed to surmise that Carrie escaped, killed Robert, made off to who knows where , started a new life and sent Lo money???

Yes (assuming your names are correct LOL).
Really didn't understand why she would send her the $$ and let her know, but I guess it was a way to let us know what happened. The second half of that book was a big disappointment IMO.
Thanks. I thought it started off OK but went downhill fast. Pretty bad
book.

I just could not get into this book - returned it to the library today.

Agreed. Not as good as IN A DARK DARK WOOD. That is worth a read. LM

I assumed she sent her the money out of guilt and as an apology for how she abused her.

I waited and waited for a new book by Ruth Ware. I was deeply disppointed in this book. I felt the author ended the book too quickly and the ending suffered because of that. Perhaps Ruth Ware was trying too hard in her second book?

I enjoyed the Cabin 10 book, but I do agree that the Dark Wood book was better.
