@CANDLEQUEEN and @Mz iMac, we don’t have any splendid TRASH writers like Sidney Sheldon anymore. They have all died off and now all we get is dystopian/politically correct/war war war/drug/alcohol addiction, etc. There is a niche for good old entertaining Harold Robbins/Jackie Collins/Jackie Susann paperback trash, and I miss it. Sometimes you just want to escape the realities of life for a few moments, you know?

Catwoman48 you forgot to mention Judith Krantz. She wrote one of my favorite trash books "Scruples". It was made into a miniseries with Lindsey Wagner in the 1980's.
