What I don't understand is why is Harry so adamant about getting an apology for his wife.  What did the RF do to her that was so terrible that Harry must get an apology.  I also don't understand what other horrible things Harry has left up his sleeve to reveal about the royal family.  Are they cannibals,  did they murder someone, do they have people imprisoned in the dungeon?  What could be so terrible.

Harry knows his family is private. So, telling the world Charles has a teddy bear is big news. @lgfan  What did he really tell us in his book that is so shocking? He is paranoid and stuck in adolescence. I would take everything he says with a grain of salt.

He, and his suddenly silent wife are using the royal connection to make money. So, everyone that admires that he had the courage to sever ties. Did he really? It seems he is tethered to his family."

I agree with you about Harry being stuck in adolescence.  Meghan is also stuck in adolescence.  She doesn't take any responsibility for her actions.  During the Oprah interview Oprah asked her if she didn't know about how the life of a royal family member would be like.  Meghan said that she didn't know about the life.  She was just going by what Harry told her.  I cannot believe she was not aware of the stress of royal life.  Did she live under a rock when the whole drama of Charles and Diana played out?  She also wasn't aware of what Fergie went through when she was married to Prince Andrew?

Based on Harry’s own words the press followed his mother. @lgfan  He had to stand with the other children while the press asked questions. He had to always have security with him even at school. He shutters when the flash goes off. (I do believe him when he says this) It is probably a trigger for him.

Harry was also the child that walked behind his mother casket. Hence royal life.

My point is if Meghan learned from Harry. What part did she miss. We all got the picture he painted.

What I got from her response is that Harry painted a rosy picture of the royal life.  He didn't tell her the truth.  She was blaming him for her sad situation.

Ignorance was mentioned in a previous comment and I was just thinking about that term related to feigning it, pretending to not knowing the difference between penning an autobiography and having the right to privacy in day-to-day life.  I know there are smart posters here who know the separation but in this case refusing it because it won't fit their narrative.

A lot of people get off on trashing them both while crying how "tired" of them they are.  Reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara: "Oh, Rett, Whatever shall I do?" before diving into themselves where the contempt really lies, blaming them who've done them no harm and never will. You don't have to read much of that to see how vicious people can be. Defininetly an unhealthy head space.

I'm flat out amazed at some of these posts, so very knowledgeable about royal life in minute detail and what should have been known by anyone entering it in a similar way as Meg. I wish any of these posters could have had the experience and reported how right they were. I'm certain the Family and the tabloids would have made it a breeze because, you know, they would have handled it with complete grace, never losing any composure with anyone. Perfection. LOL

Getting back to the topic of the thead, I was reading today that Meghan was an early investor in Clevr, a women-led wellness brand based in California.  With her help, the company has thrived and has been on Oprah's favorite things list for the past 2 years.

The Clevr chai is quite good. I put a good foam on it! Having a hot chai in the middle of the day feels a little decadent. 😎

Ditto, you are all back posting and saying the same thing too. So what is your point?

Even though they'll probably never escape entirely the rude and hostile online and print sniping, it gladdens my heart that this sweet family has found their happiness and safe haven here in our wonderful America. May this beautiful family continue to be safe here and thrive.  It boggles my mind that anyone, especially Americans, would want anything less for them or bother them in any way.  It begs the question: "What's wrong with people?".

I'd say they've done plenty of sniping themselves.  And I'm not sure who is "bothering them."  Oh wait - "Don't look at us - We want privacy."  Right
