A librarian, artist and former bookbinder decided to repurpose her dead tree into a Little Free Library in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

A man built a free library al9ng the street where we walk at night.So much fun to see what is donated.I have taken some books but usually I am contributing...have wat too many cookbooks.The cookbooks seem popular and are gone as fast as I can donate.I prefer to use the net for recipes now so I wonder who it is that loves my cookbooks.

@lolakimono your are right everyone needs to see that book house.What a unique place and the woman who built that to share her love of books is a genius and very artistic.I can’t imagine a better way to honor the long life of a beloved tree.I am not too far from that area and hope to travel there to visit and donate.I can only imagine how many people will enjoy that little tree house library with its sweet green door and warm lighting.Thanks for posting ...that is very special.
