It is also nice to download music.  Chants can be soothing.

Alan Jackson has a nice cd full of hymns that I like. My favorite is Blessed Assurance on there. They are on YouTube and Spotify too.

Anything by Max Lucado is always good. He has a new book out called “You Are Never Alone.”

I also agree with those that recommended Joyce Meyer. She has many devotional books about all different topics so you might find one that would interest you. They are quick and very inspirational.
