I know I'm late to the party, but I've been reading Lestie Meier's Lucy Stone mysteries.  I enjoy reading different genre, and these "cozy mysteries", are diversional and easy to find.  I'm trying to read them in sequence and my local public library offers many of them in large print and in the "Cloud".   Winne Archer's "Bread Shop Mystery" series is very similar (with a lot less installments!).  I'm trying to stock up on my titles with winter on the horizon. . .

When I just want to veg out and not think too much (lol), I also enjoy reading Meier's novels.  They are among several of my " get away from it all" secret pleasures.

Leslie ages her characters which is a little different than other authors. For that reason, I suggest reading the Lucy Stone series in order. Of late, some books haven't been as good.
