I have been playing tennis for about 12 years. James and I picked it up as a couples activity. He had fun but it wasn't his favorite sport. But for me...I was hooked. I now play on a USTA amateur adult league.
When Pat started her Adventures Series, I thought perfect…I will see if she would like to go hit some tennis balls with me as one of her adventures. She was game!
We did a few hand/eye coordination drills, short court volleys, baseline rallies, and then I threw in a few serves. She actually did very well. She had me running back & forth. We worked up a nice sweat.
I love playing tennis because it is great exercise but I also love the competition and getting to know the wonderful ladies on my team. And now I can add playing with my buddy Pat to the list.
