New York Fashion Week!

Hi friends! For those of you that aren't on Facebook, you may have missed my recent trip to New York City for New York Fashion Week!

Meg and I made our way to the city very early on Tuesday morning.

When we first arrived in the city we sat in a tiny bit of traffic (as expected) and finally arrived to the hotel where we had a friend waiting for us! Say hello to Jessica from stila cosmetics!

Jess did my make up before we went out to shoot some trendspotting pieces for Inspired Style. While yes we were looking for a day time look, I also mentioned that I would be attending Dennis Basso's Spring Collection runway show, so Jess created the most beautiful smokey eye look and introduced me to stila's FABULOUS new mascara that we now have at the Q! Next we were off to trendspot with the one and only Aimee Kestenberg! Lots of laughs, lots of fashion talk, and of course we talked about her brand new handbag coming to you very soon (wink, wink!)

After a delicious lunch with our gal Aimee, we were off to meet up with some of our QVC girlfriends to check out Dennis Basso's 2016 Spring Collection!

The entire collection was BEAUTIFUL, dare I say .. breathtaking! One look after the other, the crowd would gasp or share a mutal "ahhhh." I was trying not to spend the entire show looking through my phone but I wanted to make sure I could share some of my favorite looks with you! Check them out!

After the show we were able to spend some time with Dennis, but as you can imagine he had a LOT of people to greet and chat with!!

The fashion didn't stop there! After the show we had a couple more hours of trendspotting, and while yes I was running a little low on fuel, Jill Martin was the perfect pick me up!! We had such a great time scouting the streets of NYC for denim, prints, and more -- I cannot wait to share everything with you in Inspired Style!
