There are so many reasons why I love working at QVC. One of my favorite parts about this place is that you really never know who or what you will run into on any given day. This leads me to my latest beauty adventure that actually took place in the atrium at QVC when I ran into the fabulous Dr. Gross team!

So I’ll give you the full scoop – I’ve been able to get my hands on some really great products throughout my years at QVC but never have I ever had a peel! A lot of times women are afraid of peels thinking that may be too harsh on their skin. To be honest I never really had this fear, but I just never had the chance to try one.

Lucky I bumped into these ladies on a Monday because I had myself a full salon treatment in just minutes a couple of hours before I needed to be on-air. I can’t even begin to tell you how GREAT my skin felt afterwards. The craziest part it, what felt like a full skincare treatment actually came in a tiny package containing two wipes – how convenient?!

Dr. Gross’ team not only helped me feel beautiful, clean, and fresh in minutes but they also shared a lot of information about the Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Peel that I just had to share with you – because this is my beauty diary, right!?

What is it? – The Alpha Beta Daily Peel is a two-step system that exfoliates the skin, neck, and hands by wiping away dead skin cells. You will notice a visible reduction in the look of wrinkles, a brighter complexion, and your pores will even appear smaller! Now if you are a first time peeler (like me) this is exactly the brand you want to test out because Dr. Gross delivers his patented formula in two different strengths – original and extra strength!

Oh wait, did I mention that the pads in this two-step system contain the same exact formula that Dr. Gross uses to treat his clients at his NYC medical practice – we’re getting the celeb treatment at home, or on –the-go!

How do you use it? –

First you are going to want to clean off your face – The day I had my in-house peel, I was only wearing tinted moisturizer, but to make sure my skin was ready for this awesome exfoliation about to happen, we used the Dr. Gross wipes to remove any makeup!

Now here comes the Peel Pads!

Step 1: Massage the step 1 pad onto clean dry skin until the pad is no longer moist.  Use upward strokes to push the ingridients into your skin – from your forehead, the nose, the chin, above the lip. Once you’ve covered your face, it’s time to treat the neck! Pad 1 is designed to exfoliate and resurfaces skin. It will also help in removing any dead cells that gives us the pesty issues of large pores, uneven skin tone, and rough texture which all inevitably lead to giving the skin an aged appearance. PS: Don't forget you can also use these pads on the tops of your hands! 

Now WAIT! – Give it to minutes before you rip open step 2.. Okay has it been two minutes yet? Here is goes –

Step 2: Apply this pad the exact same way you did with step 1. So what does Pad 2 do for us? I will tell you! Pad 2 is designed to immediately nourish your newly exfoliated and fabulous feeling skin with anti-aging ingrediants. These ingriedents will also help improve the appearance of those fine lines and wrinkles that we are seeing. They are also set to firm the skin, reduce the appearance of pores, and reveal a more radiant complexion.

VOILA! --

After completing step 2 you will feel your skin will have soaked up all of the amazing ingridients and your skin will have a little more pep in it's step, lol! PS: Afterwards make sure you aren’t using any alcohol based products and don’t rinse your face once you have completed the peel. By not rinsing your face you are making it easier for your skin to better absorb any additional products or treatments you use in your daily or nightly routine!
