My Family Weekend Getaway

It’s official!  Spring has sprung (although you sure can’t tell by the weather!)!  And in celebration of the end of winter we took a family trip up to the Poconos for a little cold AND warm weather fun.  The Poconos are well known in the Northeast as a destination for cold weather activities. 

 

But now you can play in a balmy 84 degree indoor waterpark!  The kids had been begging to go to the beach all winter season so this seemed like a quick and easy getaway.

 

Our kids are pretty adventurous so I was excited to see how they would do on some of the taller waterslides.  Also, they had never been snow tubing before so it was going to be an adventure either way!

We captured it all using the Go Pro camera I purchased this past Christmas season from QVC. To shop more from GoPro, click here.

 

I was able to strap the Go Pro to my head and record hands free.  I wanted to share some of the video from our trip with you because this was our first time using the Go Pro and the videos came out super cool (that’s my son’s favorite thing to say, LOL).
