Hello Denim Divas!!

Spring is officially here! (Although the weather may not be cooperating for many of us just yet!)

Time to choose some fresh and pretty wardrobe updates that will take us into Summer!

For our latest Designer vs Diva poll, Gary and I want to know, between these two new Denim and Company tops, which is YOUR favorite new Springtime transitional look? Is it feminine and floral, or sporty and nautical?

Take a look at the photos and info below, then vote at the bottom for YOUR favorite! Of course, your comments and suggestions are always welcome too, and you can post those below as well!

The poll will be open for a week, and then we’ll reveal the winner on Tuesday, May 1st during our Denim and Company show! (We’ll also tell you which one was Gary’s pick and which one was mine!) As always, thanks for voting and for being a Denim and Company fan!!

XO- Carolyn

Choice 1:  A305192 Studio by D&Co Floral Button Front Bell Sleeve Top

This woven top has a button front, crew neckline and 3/4 bell sleeves, plus a back home pleat and flattering  seam details. It’s feminine and flirty, breezy and versatile for the season. Wear it with casual bottoms or a pretty skirt. Flowers are always perfect for spring and summer and this one will update your closet! Pair it with a metallic wedge or cute espadrille sandal and make a lunch date!

Choice 2:  A305054 Denim and Co Active Elbow  sleeve Striped French Terry Top

Along with your favorite comfy french terry fabrication and elbow sleeves, this  sporty, nautical style top has a fun tie detail at the sleeve hem to update it for the season! This top has a classic look and will look great with crops, shorts, skirts and skorts! Just add a fun boat shoe and sail off into spring and summer fun!

I like the floral top in the grey colour . So feminine . The stripes dont look flattering to body , I would not buy that one .

I like the Floral Bell Sleeve top. I like all three colors, but mostly in the blue/green option. Stripes just don't look good on me. It's looks great on Carolyn though!

Love the striped top in all colors! Especially if it is in 100% pima cotton (no spandex, which is too hot for summer). Smiley Happy

I'm loving the first choice; A305192 Floral Button Front Bell Sleeve Top. My fave is this top in the Iris colored print! Very nice! Smiley Happy

I voted for the stripes, the flowers on floral are too large.

Both are too short for me in my size, so I would not buy either.

I like the striped top better, it is suited for a casual lifestyle and it's a classic look.

The floral top has lovely colors, but it has a trendy sleeve and the flowers are too showy for someone like me who likes plain, classic styles.

I like the stripe top with the elbow sleeves because it is cooler for the summer.  I thought the floral top is lovely and I would buy it, except the 100% woven polyester is too hot for where I live; the summers are hot and humid.

Gary, could you please bring more denim jeans with more than 2% spandex?  Your polyester blend denims do not stretch and recover the same as the old 96% cotton 4% spandex.  Thanks!

Choice 2 because I am partial to stripes!

Gary, could you make that top a tad longer and call it a tee dress????? A striped tee dress is a great summer staple and a beach cover-up!!! Thank you!!!

Carolyn & Gary, I vote for Striped Elbow Sleeve Top. My large walk-in closet is full of Denim & Co. - single tops, pants, and many 2 & 3 piece sets. Some are as old as 10 years --- and they're all still going strong. They last forever!!!! If u guys could come to southern California and build me another large walk-in closet, I'll buy more!!!! Woman LOL

I do not like bell sleeves or bell-bottom pants especially in flower prints, do not like that kind of flare on anything but a great gored skirt.  NO on the flowered shirt!

The stripped shirt is great but horizontal stripes are not attractive on Carolyn.  Stripes need to be considered carefully in design, specifically for the reason of how each body shape reacts..... Love the sleeve and stripe detail around the neckline....that is why this one gets my vote........

Neither get my vote.  I do not like bell sleeves or large prints that always seem to draw attention to areas I like to diminish.   Also the print does  not appear to match on the shirts center seam.  Horizontal stripes do not look good on an XL frame in my opinion.  I do not like them on the models unless they are XXS and 5'9" +.

I did buy 2 pairs of the beach pants today.  One for me and 1 as a gift.

I have purchased many Denim & Co pieces over my years with QVC.  I have been pleased with the pieces I purchased.  As time and your designs have changed it has become harder to find pieces that fit my body because items seem to be made to fit average/tall. Why can we not see models that are the average size of American women?   I just checked and for 2017/2018 it is XL (16-18) and 5'3.5" tall.  At this height we are not short/petite.   Telling the models height does not help on pants.  I would like to know their inseam in flats.  I have noticed many tall models wear the 32" pants ( usual regular" inseam) or longer.   Petites are usually 29"   Ladies like me who need a 30" seam are left to pay to have our pants shortened or shop elsewhere.  We can not wear 3"+ heels.   Also why do designers add so much to the length of an item just because it is a larger size.  Many of todays tops can not be hemmed without losing the bottom design/lace and this adds additional tailoring fees.   Angel and Quacker Factory do a great job trying to fit us all. Short, Regular and tall.   I have many Quacker items but I am not into the "sparkle" as much.

I have read these same comments the past several years but little has changed.  For those who need it thank goodness you now have more petites.  Petite, regular and tall sizes should not be a problem for a worldwide company as large as QVC.  Thank you.
