Joan Rivers Worldwide

Last week, Jennifer Coffey and I took a quick trip to New York City to meet and visit with David Dangle and the crew from Joan Rivers Worldwide! (that umbrella I’m holding didn’t last long.  If I had a dime for every umbrella I left in the back of a cab….Smiley HappyIMG_4588.JPG 

We got a warm welcome (and yummy lunch!) from the staff at Joan Rivers Worldwide… about 12 people in all!

The walls are adorned with pictures of Joan… awards… you can still feel her presence everywhere.  Makes you realize how much she is missed. IMG_4587.JPG

The walls were also decked out with dazzling jewelry (David Dangle said Joan loved jewelry so much she couldn’t walk past a table of jewels on the streets of NY without stopping to take a look! She and I have that in common!)… caftans… and boyfriend shirts… my personal fave!   IMG_4581.JPG

What a joy to be back in the city I love… it still feels like home!

I had the pleasure of interviewing Joan a few times over the years… she was truly one of a kind.  I’m so glad the team at JR Worldwide is keeping her legacy and spirit alive.  IMG_4592.JPG
