It’s not been a stellar past week. I've been sick. Super sick. Haven't been sick like this since I was a kid, and it’s extraordinarily irritating. This pathetic shameful disgusting low-life virus will not give up and leave my body. Beware, wash your hands. Laryngitis, led to daggers in my throat, led to bronchitis, junky ears…are you enjoying this play by play? 

Given that I’ve been off work and on my back for about 7 days now, I have little excitement to share, other than what’s already in my head. I’ve been staring at dust, memorizing the knicks on my walls that need fixing. Nothing on TV entertains me any longer, and I have run out of things, even bad things, to eat in my fridge. So for this week’s blog, this is a no frills share session. Because I haven’t showered, and I’ve hardly seen the outside of my house so my options are limited….I'm stripping back to my raw and authentic self, and also just desperately looking for things to talk to you about. Here’s what I came up with: 

#10: My Dad wanted me to be named Brooke

  

#9 A Ouija board once told me I would marry a man named Steve; I was 12

#8: I had my tonsils out when I was 23 .. it was hideous

 #7 I have never broken a bone; I got my first bee sting 2 weeks ago in Palm Springs (the glass of wine was my response. liquid ointment.)

#6 I have a near photographic memory

#5: I once pierced my ears with a safety pin and ice

#4: I have chronic Tinnitus (ear ringing) 

#3: I have a birthmark on my right thigh

#2: My favorite city in the whole wide world is London…and I own a horseshoe that came from one of the Queen's Royal horses 

#1: Shelties are my favorite dog ( I grew up with them)
