Yes, back on topic.  On the first post, the coment was that there are so many types of foundation that it is confusing.  I agree.  I saw the informercial and was interested.  It was a new foundation, with extras, mascara, lipstick and other stuff for $39.  I compared it to her website (IT cosmetics) and the foundation is $76 with several reviews saying the product is great but too pricey, asking Jamie to bring it to QVC at a better price for her fans.  When you try to order from the infomercial, you see that it is $39 per month.  I went ahead and ordered the $76 foundation.  It is very good, not as they claim, but good.  I am fair, and it is darker than I'd like.  My opinion is that I am dissapointed that Jamie feels she has to participate in such sleezy advertizing, when she has a good following on QVC.  There are products on her website that QVC doesn't sell, it is not exclusive, but the point remains, she has so many products that claim the same thing, and that it is confusing.  Let's see how fast this gets zapped.

What the heck is this? I'm not impressed with made-up names for "secret ingredients". There are no ingredients listed on the website. It's unfortunate that the cosmetics industry relies on this tyep of marketing to sell product.

Can anyone compare this foundation to the CC cream, O2 foundation or celebration?

Pro activ and WEN have informercials and have for manyyears and they sell on QVC so obviously there is no rules preventing them from selling both places.

IT also sells in brick and mortar stores and had long before she sold on QVC. IT cosmetics was not new before they started on QVC.

Based on the limited information you provided about the new item, no, I don't know if they sell it at QVC. Since you've seen the infomercial and know what the item is, you're actually the best person to search the QVC It Cosmetics items online and find it. I have no idea what to look for.

I saw the infomercial for the first time today and would like to give IT a try but I don't order from infomercials because it's never a one time order or reorder when I want to.  Wouldn't it be nice if the full coverage tinted moisturizer/foundation be offered here at a price break.  $65.00 is a bit much to get hooked on it.  How about at "try me" kit.  At least the Q has a 30 day return policy.

The reality is that most companies in the industry do follow regulations.  Also, I'm sure it is listed on the packaging somewhere.  With enough perseverance I'm sure you could turn up the ingredients online.  Lord knows I have done some successful digging with much more secretive brands.  I would bet between Ulta and QVC you could make the ingredient deck comparisons.  But, my point really is that it is unfair to slam an entire industry because It Cosmetics does not state all on their own website.  I do share your disdain for listing any trade names rather than INCI listings.
