Re: off Topic- I need a ground coffee recommendation.

KCLadyz, I think your problem is you are trying to duplicate an espresso drink using coffee. Starbucks lattes are made with espresso which definitely tastes different than coffee. Even if you try to brew really strong coffee and use a little it won't taste the same as the espresso version.

I love coffee and espresso so besides my Keurig, french press, and melitta, I bought myself a Nespresso Pixie so I can make espresso. The family loves my lattes/cappuccinos. I use a milk frother and flavored syrups to make the caramel drinks and they are big hit here!!

Keep in mind that the water you use to brew coffee or tea affects the taste as well. So if your water is a lot different than what is used at Starbucks you will get a different taste in your coffee.

Coffee is like Wine; very personal and lots of reasons it can taste different.

I use Gevalia ... check their website to see what they have. I frequently will add a scoop of French Vanilla to other blends.

Re: off Topic- I need a ground coffee recommendation.

I finally found a coffee I like Archer Farms Pumpkin spice with a lot of pumpkin creamer.

Question: Is there a difference in taste between liquid and powdered creamer? Is streight up milk tastier. ?
