@monicakm I know you are dealing with much pain and sadness right now and I don't want to make you sadder, so I hope this doesn't.  I'm not sure if you're on Instagram, but today was Mel's birthday and Puffin posted a really sweet message along with some lovely pictures.  There were also a lot of beautiful comments from people that felt about her like we both do.  I can't believe it's been almost a year since she's been gone.

Happy Birthday, Kitten. This has been the hardest day that I’ve had in awhile now. I still miss you everyday. I still love you so much. The kids do, too. We’ve had a few bittersweet life moments since you’ve been gone that we all wish you were here to be a part of. Kaydence graduated and just moved out. Ethan got his car and his first job. Emma wears her hair buzzed now like you used to. They’re just getting so big now, it’s crazy. I’m doing my best everyday but it’s taken a lot of work and a lot of help from friends and family for me to try to be ok without you. This wouldn’t be a Mel birthday post without mentioning @kelseebrianajai . I know she wishes you were here to go on a birthday shopping spree and have the bank wandering what the heck was going on. Lol. We all love you and miss you forever.
