I agree with this statement 100%. Mally says the models are only wearing her mascara and it looks like they have extensions, but it's VERY clear that they are using Latisse or extensions. Adding too many coats of mascara over that looks nothing short of creepy to me. When I used 2 coats of the mascara, my eyelashes looked great and not at all like the models' spidery lashes.
I agree that many of them are using Lattise or Careprost. I have seen Sheila's lashes go from zero to super long over the past 2 years or less. You can't get length like that with just mascara. The thing is, they can use any drugstore mascara and get the same look, because it's the lashes that make it possible. Mally never uses Brenda or Mary for lash demos because no matter what kind of mascara Brenda or Mary may be using, they can't get the look of long lashes because they have super short lashes to begin with.

Given the bankruptcy status of her company, I'm sorry to say that I don't want to get used to certain of her products because I don't know if they'll be available in the future.
Also, I wonder if she might be getting rid of "old stuff." When I see mascara sold in bundles like her bundle of six, I never buy b/c I think they're getting old and they're moving it out. Hate old mascara that dries up shortly after opening.

Bankruptcy does not mean she is going anywhere. It is a method of clearing out old debts. It only means now that for a period of time (say 7 or 10 years or less) she won't be borrowing large amounts of money from banks or loan institutions.
Many businesses fold old business under this chapter to close out old business and start fresh. You would be surprised at some of the major, very well-known companies that we all do business with that use this financial procedure.
She still has her brand and her products, and is evidenced by appearing again on QVC and even having live audience shows. You can bet QVC and their legal department wouldn't have her on air or on line if there were going to be ANY problems in satisfying her customers (and their's) needs.
If you see her and her products available, go ahead and order. Those will have to be satisfied. The bankruptcy won't affect that. The attorneys in the business agreements will protect all of that. She is no dummy either. You can bet she isn't going to go on air and stick her neck out and make a fool of herself, her wonderful business she took so long to build, or dupe her customers, and QVC isn't going to quietly sit back and let that happen either.
They have quite a formidible legal team, and there were and are contracts galore protecting such.
Have a little faith !

Beauty experts and makers have said that unopened beauty products, especially mascaras, etc., can last up to 4-6 years if kept clean and dry and unexposed. I've got some that old and I open a tube (it's her's, too!) as I use the previous one up. She has sold hers in big bundles before now, that's how I have bought mine.

I agree. And I disagree with Redhead's comment that she wouldn't do that. She already tried to do that. She tried to sell her company for the cost of what she owed the bank and leave other companies high and dry. QVC was one of the companies that forced her to file for bankruptcy because they had all this product they had bought. Makes me wonder if they are just clearing out their warehouse.
As far as the look of the eyelashes go, Mally doesn't do that to her own eyes, so why would she do that to her model's eyes. I know she wears falsies, but if she is so behind her product, then she should be wearing it. Makes me wonder who they think their customer is.

It's easy, qvcaddition. After you've posted, loot at the top right of your post and you'll see a line of three circles. Click on that line, and you'll see options, including edit.
