I have shoulder length straight as a poker blonde hair (I dont color or perm...I used to perm in the 80's thou {#emotions_dlg.w00t})...I have always washed my hair every morning...but now if I choose....I can skip a day.

I am fairly new to WEN. I have been using it since November, 2014 and still experimenting to see what works best for "my" hair. I have the 613 which smells heavenly! Smiley Happy and I got an order of the core formulas and have been trying them out. I have the 613 oil, 613 styling creme and just ordered the POM re-moist to try.

My hair was horrible and had bad split ends. I stopped using a flat iron in June, 2014 and now use velcro rollers and use a blowdyer daily on the coolest setting. (every now and then I will use the Calista hot rollers on days that I dont wash (thanks to WEN)

I can definitely see a difference in my hair since I started using WEN. although I have read alot of negative comments about 613....I am not ready to let it go! LOL it is my first love! {#emotions_dlg.lol}

I went to the Chaz site and did the recommendation thingy....POM was best...I used POM for both cleansings the other day and I had another WOW hair day! I so wanted it to tell me 613! LOL wonder if it recommends 613 to anyone...isnt it fairly new??? dont know....

Do any of you have any other tips for getting your hair healthy and grow stronger? from all the 613 talk....should I cut down to 3 times a week on the 613? I usually use a core for the first cleansing and 613 for the second cleansing.

I love reading the WEN threads!! gives us newbies ALOT of information!

It's great stuff, isn't it? Sounds like you are well on your way to healthy hair. Trying all the different formulas is smart (and fun, lol!). With the 613, your hair may not "need" that level of treatment after awhile...just keep an eye on it. My hair is very different from yours, but I noticed that eventually it was looking just a little drier, and more frazzled with 613, so I started just mixing a couple pumps in with a core or seasonal. That worked great for about a month, then the dryness set in again---my hair just didn't feel as good anymore.

SO, now I'm using 613 to cleanse my face sometimes, as a mini-mask in the shower (makies skin feel fabulous!), and to shave my legs! {#emotions_dlg.scared} Probably won't buy any more of the 613 CC. I do still use and love the 613 oil and Replenishing Treatment Mist on my hair AND my face.

Oh, and since using WEN, I've been able to give up my flatiron and curling brush. I just blowdry with one of Chaz's round brushes, and my hair has never looked better!

I think you're doing all the right stuff. Not using as much heat really helps keep your hair healthy. I was a flat iron fiend myself, but I have cut down to once every three months for special occasions. It takes time to notice the difference. For me, my hair grows like a weed, but I could really see the pre-Wen hair halfway through my hair after 6 months of using the products.

Don't worry about the negative comments about 613. If you like it and it works for you, then kudos to you! I don't use it often, but it's great as a deep conditioning treatment on my hair.

It really depends on how your hair handles protein. I can use 613 3x a week for about a month, but after that I would back off and use it far often. Other people use it every time they cleanse and have for a very long time. If I am using a lot of seasonals, I use 613 even less often because the seasonals also have more protein than the core cleansing conditioners do. You'll have to learn what your hair likes and keep an eye on changes. My hair needs moisture more than protein - your hair may need protein more than moisture.

Thanks for the info ya'll!!

I think mine is leaning towards more moisture as well. The ends still look like they need alil more TLC. When I ordered the 613 in the gallon sized..it got it on AD.

I honestly was very skeptic on WEN but I kept seeing people say they ""love their hair""...and I wanted to see what all the love was about! lol

and I do now....thanks to WEN I Love My Hair!

ATQ, I am so glad you are loving Wen! It's an awesome line, isn't it?

Tips:

TT Oil on the scalp overnight the nights before you cleanse;

Add a splash of water to your ReMoist (you should use that since you use 613);

Try other formulas! They may not work as well as 613, but it's fun!

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.
