Re: how to return shampoo set?

If you want to keep and not return, you could use the shampoo to clean your comb, hair brush and makeup brushes. You can also use it to hand wash intimate apparel. You can use conditioner as shaving lotion.

I do all of the above, and also use extra shampoo as liquid hand soap and body wash, as the OP had mentioned.

Most things have multiple uses; no need to waste anything.

You just have to think outside the box.  8)

IMO, it does not seem respectful to the business to pour out their product you are not paying for and return empty bottles. If the business tells you to do that then, okay.

I dont think anyone said that did they?

It was mentioned to push the pump down then turn it, that will lock it down. One pump of product will be wasted, thats all.   Smiley Happy

I have seen this suggestion on the board many times and many posters in the past have said they empty bottles before sending them back to save on the s/h.

I have always had an issue with people doing that.  It is just wrong IMO.

so have I. if you are emptying them into your own vessels and then returning them empty, it is basically stealing. I use shampoos and other similar items for washing brushes, lingerie, things like that, others have mentioned that as well. There is always a use for soap products in my house.

I'm done with P.C. Just say what you mean and mean what you say. It's easier.

@Iwantcoffee, oh wow, I missed that post, I agree that is wrong to do.

I have seen that idea thrown out there before on this board and I dont think it is right either. Sorry I misspoke!    Smiley Wink

She is currently with Evine.  I don't know what you paid for this set, but you will pay postage both ways with them.  If you live some distance a heavy pkg will kill you postage wise.

Maybe someone can clear this up for me.  I was thinking Evine, QVC & HSN ALL charge postage on the front and back end.  The days of a refund on the original postage is gone.

Seems they all went to this policy around the same time-- unless I'm dreaming.

If they include a prepaid label you won't pay more than their highest cost...over 5lbs for example.  So say the postage for 5lbs or over is $9.99,  you're out that cost and the original postage charge.

Is this right?

Seriously, you people make me shake my head in amazement. When the item arrives at QVC, what do you think they're going to do with it? Re-sell it? They can't. QVC is either going to dump the liquid out or throw the entire item into the garbage.

The item did not satisfy the customer. It doesn't matter if that happens on the first drop or the last drop of the product. As long as it happens within the return policy period, the customer will receive a refund even if a couple of empty bottles show up at QVC's doorstep.

@Funloving  I am not sure how it works these days as I havent needed to return anything lately, luckily. BUT I do know the post office has a box for $5.95, you can stuff it with however much fits in it for the flat $5.95 rate, so that is good to know when you are trying to figure the cheapest way to return something if you need to.
