So the makeup class was fun. There were about 10 of us. The woman who taught us has a local aesthetics shop where she does, facials, makeup, etc. She prefers liquid foundation to powders. She also doesn't use primers, she just thinks taking care of your skin and moisturizing is good enough. She used concealer as the model's foundation. She used a toning spray between layers. Gave the model a natural look using the same color as the bronzer under the cheek bone, slightly under the jawline and on the eyes. A blush she blended well for it to be soft. Showed us the highighter under the brow bone and the inner corner of the eyes. Thought drug store products are very good and even said Dollar Tree has a good beauty section. She also thought ColorPop is a good brand. I think the name of the toner was by Skin Script, she sells it in her shop. I am still trying to figure out the difference between a toning spray and a setting spray All in all it was a good experience.
P.S. I think she used Colorpop lippe pencil in a soft nude

@TerryNJ - So glad you had a good time. I was just going to ask what a toning spray is? If you find out, let us know.

@TerryNJ Ok, what did I miss? Makeup class?
BTW, a toning spray is used to moisturize the skin before makeup application and a setting spray is the last step to seal in makeup and sometimes takes away any areas that look too "powdery".
Sounds like you had a great time.

Found this on the internet from Taila Skincare
Toner mist hydrates, balances, and refreshes the skin, acting as a lightweight, convenient, and portable step in a skincare routine. It boosts moisture levels, helps prepare the skin for serums or moisturizers, sets makeup, and can soothe irritation from environmental factors.

@TerryNJ - What concealer did she use as foundation? Did she cover the entire face with concealer or just use as spot concealer?
Did she apply the concealer/foundation with a brush, sponge, or hand?
Glad you had a nice time. ![]()
