@bewise LOL. I've heard the hosts say that often about a lot of products...purchase extras, one for you and one for a gift closet, buy extras for cousins, daughters, etc. It's a sale's pitch.
I assume if you need to wear wigs, it would be be wise to have one to wear and an extra to wash...kind of like your bras.

I have worn wigs for many years. I wear them whenever I leave my house. It does pay to keep two around and they each last a lot longer. If you know how to take care of them, they can last a year or maybe even two (especially if you trade them off). Many wig shops or websites will tell you to replace every 3 or 4 months. Don't believe it! If you know how to handle them and care for them you can get a lot more mileage out of one. I would wait and try one first and if I liked it, then I would buy another.

Most women who wear wigs more often than not have more than one. It is not unusual for them to buy two of the same wig in the same or different colors. Some women wear a wig everyday and really have no choice. A wig is a prosthetic for them, not a fun beauty item.
I don't find anything wrong with the host's statement.

Why not? Especially in 2 different styles/colors, for when you want to change up your hairstyle.

If you only have one wig and wear it a lot then it's going to start looking worn out before long. Having different wigs to rotate through will stretch their lifespan.

I haven’t had a wig for over 40 years. I know my coloring could now more likely tolerate gray hair but my own hair won’t. A couple of gray or graying wigs could well be the only thing I buy to wear in all of 2021.

@bewiseThey say that about every product! It sits side by side with the "gift drawer" I have never met anyone that has a "gift drawer". In fact someone posted once asking on the boards here if they had one, and it was no. Sadly some people jump on board and listen to the hosts. It is a sales tactic that is all. They also make it seem so normal to buy food at the prices they sell for which are outrageous.

I had 3 wigs during my chemo days--one thru insurance and the other 2 from the store for cancer patients at my hospital for free---each one was about the same color but different styles---i LOVE them all : were comfy, not hot and looked really good. i donated them back when chemo was over and I had hair again but wish i kept one. All of them were my dream styles that my own hair wouldn't look good as.

I've been enjoying the hosts trying on the wigs...some way different from their normal hair. Loved Carolyn with the longer hair one. Fun to see them looking so different.
