Re: Why Would This Be Happening-Conditoner

My hair is very long and lose hair constantly when it's dry but only in the drain after coloring. I lost a handful recently after using a heavy olive oil conditioner after coloring. I had it sitting on my scalp and hair for maybe 10 minutes and a lot of hair came out. Something in these conditioners maybe shocks the follicle? Or the color, idk!! I'm hypothyroid too.

I agree with this.

Re: Why Would This Be Happening-Conditoner

Over the years, I've found that certain brands cause hair loss for me. Maybe your head likes your shampoo ingredients, but doesn't like something in the conditioner.

Like many other people, I came to realize that WEN products cause hair loss for me....even the Remoist. But that's not the only brand that does that to me- there are several others.

So I would suggest trying other brands, + only apply the conditioner to the ends (unless you have short hair- then it's kind of difficult).

I have to add; I've experimented a lot because of this issue. When I find a product that agrees with my scalp, the extra hair loss stops almost immediately. I find VERY little in the shower, & less in my hair brush, too.

The girls at my Sally's have as much training as I do, meaning none.

Boy do I agree with this!

I've been to 3 different Sally's in my area, & all the women who work at them are a hot mess (NOT professional acting or looking in any way). I actually feel a little uncomfortable shopping in those stores.
